Dear Folks,
now that Christmas and New Year's Eve are again just around the corner, you may ask what Guesty is planning to do this year.
Well, actually he wanted to do ... nothing. Just lazing around, watching kitschy X-mas movies and stuffing himself with gingerbread and cinnamon cookies.
But yesterday we got an urgent letter from Rudolph (maybe you remember that last year Guesty celebrated Christmas with the red-nosed reindeer, and he even was allowed to help pulling the sledge).
To cut a long story short, Rudolph is down with the flu, got it from his reindeer chum Donner, and his red nose just won't stop running. That's why Guesty will have to be running - to Lapland - to pull the sledge, you know? Otherwise there won't be presents this year :- (
So, on Tuesday Guesty will pack his bags to head for the icy North. This little bulky book ... always involved in adventures. Me, on the other hand, I'll spent the holidays with my family as usual - but for sure this will be nice as well :- )
And Guesty has promised to throw down snow and nuts and chocolate gingerbread men for us when flying above our heads on Christmas Eve. Don't you promise too much, little bulky book! I'm sure you will eat all that sweet stuff yourself ;- )
Anyway, we wish you a cosy Christmas time and a beautiful, dazzling new year 2009! We'll be back for you on 7 January. Take care and don't you drink too much eggnog :- D
Insa :- ) and Guesty :o )

Wow! I haven't posted here in quite a while!
I've been such a busy busy bee! Sitting at home all Summer long doing absolutely nothing at all takes up SO much time!
Yeah, that was HEAVY sarcasm. -_-
I haven't done ANYTHING all Summer. I've been to the movies once or twice but that's about it. I swear I've got to be the world's most boring teenager. Like, seriously, if there was an award for that, I'd so win it, hands down.
OK well I explored the site a bit before coming to visit Guesty and, to my great disappointment, nothing much has happened in the few months I've been gone. :'(
BUT I did absolutely go stark-raving mad when I saw the cover of "Inkdeath"! I squealed. So thanks Insa. Now I'm a little squealing piggy and its ALL YOUR FAULT for posting the cover!
Tee hee, just kidding. You still rock. :D
Speaking of rock, did anyone else catch "Camp Rock"? OH MY GOSH I LOVE THAT MOVIE! It was amazing!
Oh yeah, by the way, if there was an award for the world's most childish teenager I'd win that too. I'm fifteen and I still adore Disney channel.
But anyways, yeah "Camp Rock," well, ROCKED! Joe Jonas is so SEXY! He's like the only reason I (and probably all of the other teenage girls in the world) watched it in the first place. Lol!
So, to all you AMAZING "Twilight" fans, what are some of your predictions for "Breaking Dawn?" I'm thinking that Jacob has to die. I mean, there is NO way Bella can survive with Jacob and Edward both alive. She loves them both so much.
Oh yeah, and if Stephenie ends the book with Edward biting Bella and we don't get to find out what Bella's like as a vampire I swear I'll go insane! That would be totally rotten...
OK so this is totally random but I'm gonna tell y'all a funny story!
Friday night was my grandpa's birthday. Me, my three sisters, my parents, an aunt, and her husband went to my grandparents house to celebrate. Well, after dinner me, my two little sisters, and my uncle were outside being total idiots. We were playing truth or dare, jumping fences, playing in the road, just being stupid. We were out there for a few hours but we got bored around ten o'clock pm. So my uncle took this big, purple, fuzzy, furry scarf and tied it to a string. Then he put the scarf in the middle of the road, kept the string in his hand and hid behind my grandparents mailbox. Their mailbox is HUGE! It's like a six foot stone pillar thing. Since it was dark with no street lights (they live out in the country) cars coming down the road couldn't see him crouched behind it. So we sat and waited and when a car got really close to us my uncle wiggled the string and pulled the scarf cross the road!
GOSH it was SO FUNNY! I was laughing so hard I almost peed my pants! One car actually turned around and came back so we all darted for the house. It was HILARIOUS nonetheless.
Probably funnier in person though...
OK well I've wasted enough of you guyses time. I'll try to come back and visit.
<3 always,
Heather

To ME, The Black Hood, Alex, and Gwyn- thank you so much for all the help. I haven't been on in a while 'cuz I've been soooo busy. I'm thinking about "To Fulfill a Prophecy".
Here's your excerpt, Gwyn!
Jean threw her caution to the wind and stepped boldly up to the door. She grasped the handle and pushed the door open easily. At first nothing happened. Then, all of a sudden, she felt as if she was made entirely of air. Colors of every shade flashed before her eyes, so quickly that she was sure she would throw up. Blackness enveloped her as if all the world's lights had been turned off at once. She was falling, falling, falling . . . Jean's feet touched ground and she fainted dead away. |

Yeah, Germany had qualified ... But we lost! *cry* Spain won 1:0 ...

Hey all!
For Bella Black: Ooh, a Jacob fan! Don’t worry, I’m not going to eat you. :-) Which books are you trying to decide whether or not to read?
For Jessy: hey girl! Just so’s you know, “g2g” is just a shortened version of “got to go”. :-) AND YAAAY, GERMANY QUALIFIED!!! (not a big soccer fan, but I’m celebrating with you. ^_^)
For Hornet: OME, same here! (haha, OME...oh my Edward!) I’ve been struggling to write my book for over a year now. It kills me that I have so little time to work on it...well...it’s not really that I don’t have TIME to work on it. But for some reason, I always feel guilty sitting and writing when I feel like I should be doing something else...I WANT to write, but I never can justify it. :-( Have any suggestions? *sorry, I’m listening to David Archuleta and he just seems to make everything okay. ;-)* Oh, and as for Twilight...I am TEAM EDWARD ALL THE WAAAAAY!!! (did you even have to ask??? Don’t you remember all my Edward rants from months ago???) ;-D (that’s quite alright if you don’t, just so’s you know) I am...sorry to say...a Jacob black...let’s say disliker. I just don’t understand him and his desperation to hang onto Bella no matter what...I somewhat pity him, but no way is it enough to let him get Bella in the end. She had BETTER become a vampire with Edward on August 2 or I will DIE. *dies* ;-) Thanks for the “good job”, but GOSH, congrats to your team! That’s FANTASTIC! :-D If it makes you feel any better, the best my team has done in a tournament was second (we lost the championship game by two) and then fifth, and then onward. This weekend we did pretty awful (I think we got...12th? Something like that. *grimaces*) RAIN, STAY AWAAAAY!!! There. It won’t come back to Montana now...I hope. ;-) hugs, girl!
For The Black Hood: I’m not really sure either...I’m trying to get others into them, but my problems with doing that may be that everyone has SEEN them in the younger kids section at the library. So they just figure they’re for little kids (or at least middle school boys or something) and don’t believe me when I tell them they’re good enough to try. I got three people or so reading them though, and only 1 didn’t like them. You’re right, Black Water was good (though I was just maaad about Gunny and Spader. They’d better come back somehow.) The newest book is AMAAAZING too...so if others don’t want to try them, oh well, more for me! ;-D Oh, and thank you for your advice, about writing by hand once in a while. That’s actually a really good idea, I have plenty of notebooks! And they’re easy to carry around...thank you! :-D
For Dustfinger2.0: YAAAAY I’m BACK! ;-D How’ve you been girl? Looks like you haven’t been here in a while either... :-)
Hi Insa! First of all, umm, the release date for Inkdeath I just found on Amazon...it said “to be released on October 14th” (haha, my half-birthday) so I just assumed that it finally had a date set...is it not right? *scratches head* I’ll take it back if I’m wrong! ;-D I’m really glad to hear that everyone’s doing well in Germany!! It was baking here this weekend as well...I was playing a softball tournament and I got crispified. If that’s a word. Turns out sunscreen is actually a good idea when it’s sunny...but that’s alright, hopefully it’ll fade to tan soon and I’ll stop feeling like my shoulders are ripping in half every time I move... ;-) So stay cool, okay? ;-D hugs, Insa!
Abrazos,
~Alex

| I picked up your book at a local store, the cover was wonderfully illustrated that it peaked my interest so I bought it. I love all relms of fantasy and from the moment I opened its pages I was drawn in and oh what a read it was! Well written, in the same clasification I feel as Harry Potter books. My mind raced and I set out to puchase Inkspell and found myself mesmerized too. Don't stop, I can't wait for Inkdeath. or the movie. Thank you |

After reading Inkheart for the third time and taking a world view class I noticed a passage in Inkheart that I would like to be explained. Meggie is thinking something like (but not word for word) "She remembered when Mo took her along to see the stuffy old man with the Bibles." Now I was curious to know if Mrs. Funke was implying more than what she said. If she is against Christianity and working that into her books or not.
I know this is a fairly personal topic but I do want to know.
Thank you so much for your precious time.
-Maddie

Ello everyone! I didn't finnish my book... and i still havent picked up the 8th and ninth pendragon books, because i still havent finnished my book... when I do though, (some time in the next few days) It'll be rushing like crazy to get to the bookstore!
@Alex: I'm surprised that you don't know any other fans... I know more than I can count! ok that's not true, but I know a lot! Almost all of my friends have read it, even the less fast readers (which is why i decided to buy the book, because i didn't feel like waiting a month before finally being able to borrow it (other ppl calld dibs months before)) which reminds me to pound one of my friends... ( he read the whole thing the first day he got it, then told me exactly who died... even though i kept yelling out nonsense not to hear, i heard... and now I am going to have to spoil some other book for him! (MUAHAHAHA))
I can't decide which one i like most though... it's too hard! but I think it's probably Black Water, although I really liked the Rivers of Zadaa too... (finally Bobby could defend himself!!!)
But then again I liked them all!
P.S.: (try to write by hand sometime... it makes queezing in writing time a kazilion times easyer)
@Lily:
Ales is right! Every word! just write and write and write and DREAM ON! DREAM ON! DREAM ON! DREAM UNTIL YOUR DREAM COMES TRUE!!!
It's almsot certain that any writer will not succeed right away, (unless their parents or close friends parents are publishers... ) but they just have to keep trying and NEVER lose hope! And I highly doubt that any of your writing ideas could possiby be stupid... and starting young is really really good... you're not even in high school yet, so you have already years to perfect any writing you have... I know i wish I'd have started way before
@ Bella Black:
First off, welcome to the guestbook! and second congratz on having started writing something! My book is about orphans and magic and a whole bunch of other stuff that's fun to write and read! it's called Tales From the Frey: A Tale From the Frey, and is told from the point of view of Freyja Wardwell, a little girl who is allergic to the color pink. Oh and The inkseries is amazing! You don't have to read them, but really you should! just amazing books!

Alex!!: Hey!!! Cool! your back! I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one struggling on their book. I'm still on my first one and plus I thought of another one. OME! I have to read Twilight one more time to catch up with you!!! Only I have it lent out to a friend right now... Oh well, I guess I'll reread New Moon. Are you team Edward, Team Jacob, or Team Switzerland? I'm Team Edward. I used to HATE Jacob but for the past 3 days I've liked him. I think I'll actually be able to finish New Moon again. Ok, I have lots more to say on the subject but I'm going to stop myself there.
Good job with softball! My team ended up as the best Team in the league! We didn't win tournament though...
Montana was great yesterday but today looks like it's going to rain, again. UGH! It rained ALL SPRING. I'm sick of the rain!
ME: Of coarse I've read The Host! I thought it was an amazing book, but still not as good as Twilight. So have you read it?
Bella Black: I think Jacob's ok, I just don't think he's better than Edward (Edward sparkles).
I'm kind of mad because I'm going to be at camp the day Breaking Dawn comes out so I can't go to the release party.

I know I just dropped in out of the blue, but... :-D
For Lily: Don’t worry girl...I have been struggling to write my own book for almost two years now. You want to know how long it is? It’s only 42 pages long! >_< I just keep getting stuck and life stays busy...but don’t give up on your dream of writing! It will come to you...and if your characters are really determined, they’ll help you out while you’re writing! No idea is ever out when you’re writing a book. What is Leaf Warriors about? If you’re having writer’s block, I’ll listen to rant if you need to! ;-)
For Horsefreak: I really hope you have been good and taken care of your bubble!! ;-) I hope Dixie’s doing well...you have to tell me all the stories!
For The Black Hood: OH MY GOSH, ANOTHER PENDRAGON FAN! AHH...I’ve never met another person who’s read them! I’m in the middle of rereading the series...I just finished reading the newest ninth book, and found that I was REALLY confused in parts because I didn’t remember what happened clearly in previous books. Thus the rereading. I hope you enjoy the eighth and ninth books...the ninth is my favorite out of all of them! (except maybe Rivers of Zadaa, because I am a HUGE Loor fan, hehe) Let me know what you think...it was amaaazing! ^_^
For Ellen: Oh boy, book titles! Hmm...it’s a bit hard without knowing a lot of what happens in your story. But it sounds like the prophecy comes a lot into play...why not pick a line from the prophecy as the title? Or maybe the name of the magical land where they live, that’s always a good start. I hope that helped a little...good luck!
For Audrey, Angie, and Addie, if you’re out there: Hey girls!! I’m sitting here missing you... :-D
For ME: Wow. I know I’m not the first person to say this, but your writing is very, very good! I love your style...it’s very detailed but still reads VERY smoothly! AMAZING, keep up the good work! :-D
Alright, I think I probably freaked enough people out...thanks for bearing with me!! I think I’ll go watch Lord of the Rings now... ;-D

Wow, it feels so good to be back! HI INSA!! *hug* It feels like it's been ages...gosh, my last entry was so long ago...actually, about three months, but that was the biggest break since...since. ;-)
I don't know what to say...I missed the Guestbook a lot! Softball was INSANE, but we ended up finishing with a 17-3 record. Now the travel season's come around, and I still love it more than ever, even though it takes over my every weekend until August. We’ve already gotten second and fourth in our two tournaments so far! :-) And exams FINALLY ended yesterday...a full EIGHT DAYS after real school ended! It was eeevil, but I think I did well on most of them. I hope.... :-)
Koki: Hey girl! I know, we both haven't been here...I left for a little while *see above* but hopefully I'll be able to check back a whole lot more often now! I'm feeling really hyper...I really missed the guestbook!! Is England doing okay? I know you were worrying about your exams way back when too...how did those end up? :-) HUG!!!!!
For Hornet: Hey other oldie! How's Montana been treating you? :-) I was glad to get a mini-update on Alice (I still think it's SO COOL that you named your kitty after a Cullen!) even though she's been "driving you insane." Speaking of Alice Cullen, did you know I finished rereading Twilight for the ninth time the other day? And I'm CRYING EVERY NIGHT for how the movie process is going. Not really. But still...it just makes me unhappy...but I'll still be there on opening night anyway because I'm such a devoted Twilighter. ;-) I went to read the first chapter of Breaking Dawn in Barnes and Noble when the Eclipse special edition came out too...ACK!! I CANNOT WAIT...37 DAYS!!! Hugs girl...sorry I left you!
HI INSA!! I missed talking to you...I hope life's been treating you nicely! :-) INKDEATH FINALLY HAS A RELEASE DATE!?!? AHHHH, it comes out on my half birthday!!!! ;-D How's Velos and everybody? Is it finally acting like summer in Germany? Have you read Twilight yet? ;-)
Abrazos...sorry for my excessive excitement! ^_^
~Alex!
P.S. Aww, sad! I just checked the Chat section...it will be missed, now that I can actually visit! :-(

*** Hi Alex, first of all one question: where did you find the final release date of Inkheart? Everything's fine here in Germany. We are all in the grip of soccer mania, but we are melting here. It's sweltering. Haven't read Twilight yet :- (

Hornet: Yah. I totally understand your obsession with Twilight. I have some friends here who are the same way. Anyway, I dodn't think that my parents will cave. Hey, have you read The Host? I still haven't gotten hold of a copy yet and I don't have any money to buy it, but I read an excerpt form it. If you haven't read it yet you should go to this site: *** sorry, on legal grounds we do not refer to other websites here in the guestbook *** Then fallow the link to read a chapter of it. It's amazing! anyway ...

Koki: Hey! We're Oldies! I know! Everyone left! Last I heard from Alex she was really busy and was playing softball and didn't have much time to check up on here.
The Black Hood: Nice to talk to you again. I know how you feel about the book thing. My dad is pretty well known in the downtown area where I live so he tries to support the businesses as much as he can. So I have to buy books from one of the most expensive stores in town. And the really cheap book store is all the way across town so we don't go there that often.
ME: YOUR PARENT WONT LET YOU READ TWILIGHT? OME (Oh my Edward) I would DIE if that happened. I was just going to mention that I have a horrible obsession with the book. You need to explain the them that the book is very good and that you NEED to read the book, not that you want to, that you HAVE to.
SPUNK RANSOM!!!
(he stole my cookies)
Haha, did anyone else see the spoof that Smoky Fizz did on YouTube? That was hilarious!
So basically here in Montana I am as bored as heck and my cat Alice (Yes, I named her after Alice Cullen in Twilight) has just about driven me INSANE.
I hope everyone else is doing well everywhere else in the world. |

ello everyone! I am getting really frustrated with my guitar... the songs I'm supposed to be learning are quite hard... it's 2 Beatles songs, and one Pink Floyd... The Pink Floyd one is easyer, so I'll start with that one (less complicated rhythm) I have a few weeks to do that though... but it's quite annoying when you can't play something very good at first... I sometimes get some tabs (instructions to play) off the internet and try to play the song, but usually they're too hard... but today I dug up the one for Iron Man, and I'm happy to say that I played more than the main riff nearly perfect on the first try... I need to draw another fox (i know, random) something musical too... Oh and I have the song "reach out n touch faith" (if that's the right name) stuck in my head...
Besides that... I'm planning on being done reading the serpents egg at some time between 1 and 3 in the morning... because my book order is in tomorow, and I'm super anxious! well actually its been in since saturday, but I've just been busy since then. then I have to save up to be able to order the sequel to the one I'm reading...
@hornet: Welcome back! oh and LUCKY! I wish I had a job... my uncle is starting up a store, but he certainly is taking his time... i tried the bookstore too, and they didnt need more people... since then I've been obsessively buying books from them... which is why I'm low on cash!
@ Insa: I cant remember, but the movie IS comming out after inkdeath right? because I dont want the movie to ruin my image of the book... either way, I dont want to see it until AFTER i've read ALL of the trilogy and not just two thirds... it's like the artemis fowl books: I picture him as a chubby little blond guy, but the book clearly states: raven haired and skinny... fortunately the movie isn't until a while for that...
*** Hi Black Hood, yes, Inkdeath will come out first. ***

This is a riddle that I wrote for a story that my little brother is writing but I thought that ya'll might enjoy it:
What’s only entered through one’s mind
Where past and future together bind
Ambitions and fears, here they meet
And dance together with nimble feet
Where dark is light, and day is night
And troubled thoughts begin their flights
Here is where the gateway lies
To find one’s self before one dies
Oh, and I'll send the answer soon :)

I can never find a good title until the story is finished. I might be able to help if I knew a little more about the story line, like what exactly is the prophecy. anyway, It's sounds really cool!

Inkpen: I'm sorry, i didn't ask people to see if they wanted to know more about the story, it's just a short passage that I wrote on my way home from school one day. I start to write alot of things that I never really finish, that was one of them. sorry. Oh, and I'm glad that you liked my poem! I was kind of worried that it might have been too long. . .
Oh, and my birthday is in December also! It's the 22nd.
Gwyn: Hey, I'm really kinda mad right now because my mom and dad won't let me read the Twilight books. All of my friends have read them and love them and keep telling me that I would love them as well. It's really annoying. I've read the first few pages of the first book and got hooked but then my parents found out what they were about ... Anyway, I'm really glad that you liked it.
And to explain the poem, the point of view is from a human (i was picturing a girl but it doesn't really matter) who desires to reach the horizon, thus the title. She wants it so bad that she starts to swim across the ocean, then realizing that the waves and the water are too strong for her, she drowns and she finally makes it to the horizon, which is heaven or life after death or however you want to think about it. Kinda depressing i guess but anyway, it's interesting to see how different people interpret it. One of my classmates read it and said that he thought that she was commiting suicide ...
I'm really flattered that so many people actually like my writing! I'll put more up soon! |

Hi Everyone! I am going to try (once again) to come back. Everything is all still very crazy and it's summer. It's not supposed to be crazy!
I ended up getting a job from my dad and I didn't apply for it or anything. Things got crazy at his work so I jumped in and started helping. Last I heard I was on the actal pay roll (not allowence) I don't know if that's true or not because I'm really too young to be working for him but next year I will be able to legally work for him.
Anyways, now that I have bored you all. What's up? I don't really know most of the people here my friends have all left *sniffle *sniffle.

@Inkpen: lucky! i wish blueberries were ready here! I know how to speak french... and it's an amazingly difficult language to write in! It seams too formal for me... and the grammar is complicated... oddly I get really good grades in French...
@ Ellen: If your book isn't done, don't worry about it yet... it takes a while to find the right name... I named my book runnaway children, then renamed it recently to a tale from the Frey... just keep writing! that's all that matters I think... it's come, dont worry! |

ME-
that's pretty good, but kinda reminds me of the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer. Or more specifically book two: New Moon, when Edward leaves Bella. Hmm I'm sorry, it probably doesn't have anything to do with that at all, does it?
As for the poem... you skip between the emotions alot... I'm confused. It was good though. Two thumbs up! I can't quite capture the meaning of the title, though. Who's point of view is it told in? a bird? a fish? a human? perhaps all of them at once? I'll read whatever you write in this guestbook; I think I like your style.
Scourge15-

Ellen-
That sounds cool! Won't you please put some excerpts in here? I'd LOVE to read about the Phoenix, the Wolf, and the Lioness! ;) Sorry, but I don't think I can help you with the title. I'd have to actually read it to be able to come up with some worthy ideas. ;)

Hey, Inkpen actually, that was just a short bit of writing that I did one day when I was bored. There really isn't any more to the story (I'm sorry). But I'm really glad that you like it. Maybe I'll add on one day, but I'm not really sure. I have some more writing that I've been writing if you're interested. Hey, this is kinda long but if you want to read it, it's a poem that I wrote:
The Horizon
The rhythmic rushing, of the waves on the beach,
The water rising and rising then crash!
Down, down, down it falls.
Pushes and pulls back and forth,
Dancing with a steady beat, it calls me in.
In with the water, the fish and the foam,
It calls me in toward the horizon,
And in with the setting sun and the birds, and the clouds,
To the point where they meet the water,
That is my goal and the waves call me on
With their pulling and pushing
The waves call me on
With their rising and falling
And so I set out, out into the waves,
Out without vessel, I go out to seek
The point where the light
And the waves and the sun and the clouds,
The point where they meet,
And I swim through the waves and the foam and the fish,
I swim toward the setting sun as it touches the water,
But the waves, now they laugh,
They laugh and they rise and they rise, and crash!
They fall down, down, down and they pull me down under
Down, down, down, without mercy
And I kick and I fight,
And, as I burst from the water, gasping for breath,
The waves are still laughing,
They rise and they rise,
And they crash once again, pulling me under,
And I struggle with the water
Unable to gain the strength that I need to burst back above,
Where the waves are still laughing, and dancing, and laughing at me,
As they fall and they rise,
And I struggle for breath,
My lungs burning for air,
I kick and I reach for the sky that I see up above,
And I struggle for breath, as the water holds me down,
And, unable to keep from gasping for air,
I take in one burning, one choking gulp of water,
And my vision is blurred,
And I see the horizon,
And I reach for the sun, and the birds, and the clouds,
And I see the point where it all comes together,
And I reach, now free from the water,
Now free from the prison of the watery grave,
And I fly on toward the horizon,
And the sun, and the clouds, and the birds,
And I come, at last, to the point where they meet. |

@-ME_ that was REALLY good. You need to senp the rest of that story to my e-mail. (you don't have to) But that was really good. Mines not as nearly as good as yours. And who was 'he' . that sounds interesting. What type og book is it going to be???
@everyone who wants to read- Well my life is goen good. I didn't understand Adurey, when she said 'please tell me where Alex went!!!!'
Well its pretty straight forward, but i think i forgot who Alex is. Sorry!
I had a freind who's name was Adurey. She was just like a twin. But i was faster than her. in my old school, people saw you if you were fast. (very unfornete (sp)) But a lot of people liked her. I feel dirty talking about my friends. Well only if its good. I think this is good.'

She stood, silent, on the sidewalk, the wind blowing her damp hair. Her face was red from weeping, and her mascara streaked from the rain. Her once happy face now wore a look of pain so deep that it seemed she would never smile again. She stood there staring in the direction that he had once come from. The wind and rain could not shake her. In fact, she did not even seem to notice them. She stood there, waiting, wishing, that someday, somehow, he would return. But she knew that he had already moved on, and yet she never would.

Dear Cornelia,
I just wanted to say how big of a fan I am of your work. I am a 6th grader at All Saints Catholic School in Norman, Oklahoma. I am an avid reader, Inkheart and Inkspell are two of my favorite books. I am very anxious for Inkdeath to be released. You and C.S.Lewis are my two favorite authors. Thank you for sharing your talent with me and other kids. I hope you write more books for many years to come. I can't wait to read all of your children's books, and when I get older all of your other books too!

Todays not the best day of my life. (Monday) Because yesturday i had needles and shots put in me. One to take my blood and others to give my body an extra buste.(sp) So today, i get all the side affects. I sleep all day cuse i feel bad, get fever, and feel horible. Yay me going to the doctor!! (im being sarcastice) my mom gave me some medician and that made me feel better but i still had a fever. 99.9 that means that without the medician, my fever would be in the 100s. But im kept cool, by texting my friend Alex Bushury. She ROCKS!!!!!! Well my bro is at camp. NOOOO!!!! i really miss him. I want to throw the ball with him still. But the bad thing is that when he gets back from camp. IM going to camp, then when i get back, hes going to tennis camp, then when he gets back with that Im going to diffrent camp. All very frustraten. Well at lest he is tranning to get on to the 6th in the sate tennis team. Soon i hope i will go after him when i get to High School. Just 3 years away. He will be in High School in 2009. I get really mixed up with years. Really weird but its the truth. Well i have read 6 books today. Connors not going to be happy that i have a head start. When he figured that he had read a book before me, he regoiced. It took him two days for him to read it and me 4 hours. Very diffrent reading levels. It was a skinny book. like a 100 pages. not THAT hard. Well i have to go take my meds, sooo.....................i'll be off.

Hey, I'm just wondering ... do you have any tips for someone who is working on writing a novel? I've been writin for a few years now, but it's been mainly just short stories and memoirs and such. I really want to write something longer so I started a new story and it's really taking shape good, but I'm not sure if it will be long enough ...

@The Black Hood- I AM SOOOO SORRY!!! damn. Well i know that i won't make that mistake a gain. I blushed when i read that. Sorry. damn. Sorry again. And onother question, how old are you? im 11.
@addie- I can't even play 1 instrument. You seem REALLY talented. Just had to say that. The only thing that envolves pratices for me is tennis. I LOVE TENNIS! it is really fun. Federrier ( i know i didn't spell his name right) was getting his butt kicked in the champianchips (sp) by Nadal.
@lisa- Ive gone to Ireland. It is a pretty place. I stayed at my uncles house. We went and saw all diffrent types of castles. My faveroite one was Kashel (sp). My brother and I got lots of the kids to start plaing on the rocks. I like hail to my brother. Hes like the second person i will go to. (except for freinds. he calls mine freaks. My friends all have brothers so they always get called that. We really don't care. lol) My name is named after a famouse river there. Savren. Right now its called the Severn, but when they first named it it was Savren, after a princess. You have probibly already been told this. lol.
Okay my power gust went out. My computer didn't though. O my god. HHHHHHH. That was really scary!!!! The power sounds like three buzzukas (sp) went off. I almost had a heart attack. The power company is paying for my hospital bill, when that does really happen. Well i have to go shopping now. YAY!!! then to the libray to get some awsome books, and stuff for my parents. The library is awsome, because basicly you get to read the books you want to with out going to the store and paying for them.
Just for the people that like to read action packed and adventure books (me) you should read the 'Alex Rider Adventures' there are 7 of them and they are REALLY GOOD!! (ink trolides are the best though) And in the movie Alex is hot.

It also helps that I inherited some useful traits from my mother's side (all the guys on her side of the family got 90% plus without barely trying, and the exact opposite on my dad's side)
@all writers who hope to get published:
step 1: tell your friends you're writing a novel or short story, or whatever your writing (it's an interesting conversation and it only takes a few minutes)
Step 2: tell your teachers (ask about publishers at the same time) even tell the teachers that aren't your teachers but just teach at your school.
Step 3: (tricky part) you may want to find out about sending your writing to a publisher, but also maybe enter in writing contests too (make sure your work is perfect before sending!). I think that new and young authors have better luck in small publishers, becuase I bet they get less submissions, but large publishers could work too, they judge you on your writing, not on your age. (I've checked out some of the bigger publishers, and most of them you need a litterary agent first)
you may not know it, but there could be a publisher living just down the road from you, so dont hesitate! Ask around!
If there are any mistakes due to my own ignorance feel free to say so or add anything Insa... owing to the fact that your sister has published many books, you probably know more about it than I do. Thanks!
@Gwynn: did you get hit by the tornado/hurricaine/thunderstorm/extreme winds?
@addie: I am majorly jealous! lol! I can only play the guitar, not as good as I would like though... oh and the piano! when my guitar is nearby so I can find the right keys... and it's extremely hot and humid here too! anyway, hope you learn the mellophone easilly enough (what's a mellophone?) but I'm sure it won't be too hard if you already know quite a few... once u know one it's easyer to learn another (less worrying about rhythm and all)
once again to young authors (especially really young ones who are younger than 15 (my age) and qhom I'm majorly jealous of because I wish I'd have started earlyer!)
Just write! anyone try to discourage you, don't listen! (they are just so bewildered by the fact that an author can exist amongst them, and think it's impossible (basically they are slighly narow minded people who havent put much thought into the concept... if they would have, they would be more optimistic)
and above all believe in yourself and keep that dream alive!
I know I keep ranting about these things, but these pep talks do help... I think... tell me if I'm wrong
Anyway I'l be off, have fun writing everone!
